Importing a GA aircraft from Canada to US

Does anyone in here have any experience buying a light aircraft in Canada and bringing it into the US? I saw an ad for an Alarus CH2000 in Canada and I would love to buy it, but I live in the States.

Does anyone know what the taxes might be like, or re-registering the airplane here? Any pitfalls to look out for?
