The Noob with the Avata 2 again... yes I was not in Manual mode but in NORMAL mode
So yes guys! you where all right! I was actually in Normal mode and not in Manual mode and I'm using the motion sensor joystick!
A few updates from the last few days. I'm now going around with the Avata and did a few "jobs", f
- Fly Over the Roman Roads and Medieval Roads, these have dense foliage and trees, it's been raining heavily so I was clenching my butt that the drone doesn't fall on water!
- filmed a crumbling watch tower and the view from the top.
- I filmed a beach and a lighthouse nearby with wind.
Now we're still getting some strong winds around here so I noticed the drone will hover sideways if the wind hits it on the side. Took me a while to understand why it was always sideways.
Had a second crash because of the drone returning home at low battery.
I was filming a roman road with huge slabs just about the last stretch of it and filming at around 2 meters to not crash into any tree branches.
I noticed it still had 15% battery left and I was not even 15 meters from it. I tried to rush back to land and this was a big mistake.
The drone entered the return home procedure, I couldn't figure out what to press to stop it. It flew straight up right into a tree, mangled the leaves at 5 meters high and then it just crashed down straight into the slabs below...
And the back of the body cracked. It didn't break but cracked as it clearly hit with that part on the floor.
Bonus: The cat video I did on my second time flying normal mode, and yes the exact same thing mentioned above happened but at very low altitude
