100 mile equipment advice

Any advice on poles for a long 100 miler, likely over 24 hours with a good amount of ascent and descent. Also good pack. Currently use a regular Salomon running vest that is fine for anything under 24 hours / something with frequent aide stations . But this is a more “out there” 100 miler and I’d like a slight upgrade in pack . Still light but able to maybe comfortably carry a little more water / jacket and headlamp. Looking not to break the bank but also not be cheap so any advice is great
