In (Lead) Crust We Trust

Ive hit the point of 10/22 where there is so much lead buildup in the action that all I do is put some oil in it every now and then and it still works perfectly. I’ve had a stock 10/22 and used almost exclusively Remington Thunderbolts (in my opinion best cheap 22 round) for the past 5 years. Over time only issue I’ve ever had is Winchester White box (never again). Growing up everyone who I’ve known who had a cheap 22 would have so much lead buildup that it’s flawless.

Before you ask. Yes I still maintain the barrel and clean that really good.
