Should I product change Venture X before applying for Venture for SUB?

I have Venture x but don't really plan on using it much now that I have Bilt Palladium for daily spend. I was thinking I might try and product change Venture x to the Venture One and apply for Venture with the elevated SUB. But I pre applied through Capital One and was only offered the Venture one, I don't want to apply for the Venture and end up getting denied. I have over 800 credit score, but I've heard Capital One is weird about getting approved for card, especially if you already have serval other credit cards. Should just keep the Venture x since its essential free with the travel credits, or deal with the product change and risk new application to maximize points with the SUB.
