Xenoblade Chronicles X vs. Ys X Proud Nordics on Switch 2

Has anyone played both and can compare the two?

I waited a while for the launch of Ys X Proud Nordic on switch 2 and it’s finally releasing , yet, Nintendo just hit us with a Switch 2 edition for XCX !

I’m unsure which game to go for .. any recommendation and strengths vs weaknesses for both games? I’ve never touched any of these franchises before so this will be my first
