This was a game I just played earlier and boy when I tell you I had the most toxic Cloak and Dagger player on my team trying to talk crap about my dps it really showed. Let me explain something right off the bat, DPS doesn’t mean anything without final hits. A perfect comparison of this screenshot is me (Starlord) vs the (Moonknight) on the other team. Yes he had some insane damage but guess what 42k damage with only 8 final hits = MASSIVE support ult feeding. I can confidently say that in some of my most impressive games of final hits/KOs my dps overall was actually very low but my ability to constantly put people down and force that 9 second respawn is far more valuable than your “dps”. I honestly am baffled by how long this game has been out but you have players in the Plat-Diamond ranks thinking holding left click on punisher/MK/SG is actually helping your team. No in reality your one step above playing for vibes because your slowly just feeding so many support ults. I’ll genuinely always say this is why dps is the most misunderstood roll and easily has the worst braindead players locking the typical moonknight and squirrel girl picks just to brag about svp damage numbers but take the L anyway. PSA to anyone that enters my lobbies and insta locks moon brain or nut head I will insta ban your character and explain to you why I did so. Start playing dps characters that actually have a real impact on the game not just because you can’t aim.

Do people know how DPS actually works?
