Does anyone else’s phone overheat and lag after the new update ?

I have a 17 Pro Max, brand new phone. Thing used to run the game all day everyday with no sweat, not even a warm feeling. After this update I can’t go 2-3 games without my phone starting to stutter ridiculously. Just now I hopped on for the first time today, ran a DMZ match for 12 mins before exfil. Jumped into one MP match hard point on standoff ranked. Halfway through the game I started experiencing dramatic frame drops, hot to the touch back panel, and lag. Is this anyone else after the new update or is my phone clapped already ?
