Heavy energy and possible evil eye

So, for context, I'm from Brazil and although family is mostly Catholic, my father is an Atheist and my mum is a Spiritist (it's a religion that is based on the idea that, alongside physical reality, a spirit world exists, and that spirits exist separately from human bodies and that humans are incarnate spirits. Every spirit undergos repeated reincarnation into the physical world in a progression toward intellectual and moral perfection.). I have a lot of Muslim friends and friends that are witches so I am exposed to a lot of religions daily. Even though I don't practice any religion, I am agnostic and I do believe in a lot of the main things about Spiritism.

Now, onto my main concern: Ever since me and my mother moved to our new house, just over a year ago, a lot of things keep happening that make me believe that there are less evolved spirits surrounding us and that probably somebody is giving us the evil eye. For example, our glass table fell down within a month of us buying it, my shower stopped working after only a year of it being installed and then my mum's shower also stopped working, the desk that I bought so I could study broke after only two months of me having it, a lot of our dishes would break very easily, even if you just put them down gently, also a lot of lights around the house stopped working after maybe less than a year, and recently there have been a lot of bugs and ants around the house so we were wondering were they could possibly be coming from since we clean the house very often- we found out that there is a nest inside our TV which is also only a year old. I could keep going but that's just a few of the reasons why I believe somebody might be giving us the evil eye.

Another thing I've been worried about is the presence of a less evolved spirit who might be affecting us badly and bringing us down. A few nights ago I had a horrible nightmare which I'm not going to explain because I'm scared that it might manifest into existence but once I woke up I felt another presence with me and I could tell that it wasn't a spirit of light and that it wasn't there with good intentions. After that, I prayed that whatever spirit was there that did not wish the best for me or that had bad intentions was gone and remained only evolved spirits who wished to protect me and guide me. I brought my cat to sleep with me so I could calm down and so that she could warn me if there was any other unwanted presences in the room. But even then, I couldn't go back to sleep that whole night. Then, last night my mum saw a spirit outside and asked me to keep the lights on and to pray with her so I did.

We both have been feeling this heavy energy ever since we moved in but it's only been getting worse. I have no motivation to do anything anymore and I feel just horrible. I spoke to a few of my friends about this very briefly but I was worried it could even be one of them that was unintentionally giving me the evil eye so I didn't explain much. So I would please like some advice on what to do 😖😭🙏
