@creditbrigade breaks down why good credit still gets you denied — what's your take?
Saw a solid post from u/creditbrigade on IG about why people with good credit scores are still getting denied for business funding. Their breakdown hit on some real patterns:
- Applying in the wrong order
- Stacking too many inquiries at once
- Poor utilization timing
- Mixing personal and business credit incorrectly
Their main point: "Funding follows order. And order protects your profile."
This is something I see all the time. People focus so much on the score itself that they forget banks are evaluating risk patterns, not just a number. You could have a 780 and still get denied if your application sequence is off or your utilization timing doesn't line up. It really comes down to structure and having a system before you start applying.
Have any of you been denied despite having solid credit? What was the reason they gave you, and did it end up being something structural like this?
