Going to see GP today for bradycardia. What questions should I ask?

37M. 6'1" - 225lbs - normal blood pressure. I exercise regularly and eat a relatively healthy diet. No nicotine, alcohol, and almost no caffeine. No prescription meds. I take a multivitamin, probiotic, and 1200 mg fish oil every day, and up until a few days ago also took 2000IU D3 bringing my total D3 to 3000IU each day.

Symptoms:

  • Low resting heart rate of around 48-55 when awake and in the low 40s when sleeping
  • Feeling of blood pumping through my torso anytime my chest or back are pressed against something. Gets much worse when trying to sleep or when bpm is below 60.
  • Occasional palpitations which I've had since my early teen years
  • Extremely light pressure (almost like a slight warmth) in left pectoral area when I first wake up, goes away a few minutes after I start moving.
  • Occasional light chills when I first get up in the morning
  • Light anxiety, mainly at night when bpm drops
  • Tingling in my left shoulder blade that comes and goes over the past week or so. Talked to Dr. about this and he thinks it was a pinched nerve from overworking during excercise.
  • 5 days ago had a sudden sharp chest pain that got worse with deep breathing. Dr. diagnosed me with pleurisy (lung lining inflammation) due to overworking during exercise. Same injury he thinks is contributing to my tingling in my shoulder blade. That pain has since gone away.

TL;DR: I've had a low resting heart rate ever since getting an ablation for SVT in 2023. Over the past 6 months my resting bpm has contributed to drop even lower on average. What questions should I ask my GP when I go in for an appointment today?

History of palpitations and I had an ablation in June 2023 for SVT that did not fully fix palpitations but I haven't had an SVT episode since.

According to my watch data, from 2020-early 2023 my resting heart rate was on average between 59-65. I went on 50mg Metaprolol leading up to my ablation which brought my resting bpm down to 45-50. They kept me on metoprolol until early October 2023, but had to reduce the dose to 25mg because my resting bpm was getting down in the 30s. But after going off metoprolol in late 2023 my resting bpm never returned to its pre-ablation numbers. According to my watch, my average resting bpm from 2024-now is 53bpm, and I usually don't wear my watch while I sleep, so that's awake resting bpm. Over the past 6 months my resting bpm has dropped slightly even from the low number that it was post ablation.

A few days ago I noticed while sitting on the couch fully awake that my resting bpm was 48, so since then I've been wearing my watch during sleep, where the past 2 nights have resting heart rates of 43 and 46.

I've been to my cardiologist multiple times since my ablation to ask about continuing palpitations, and after having me wear two different 10 day holter monitors, they told me that my level of palpitations was not concerning. I would have assumed they saw my low bpm on those monitors, especially at night, but they never said anything about them. My most recent cardiologist visit was January 2025, so over a year ago.

I'm going to my GP office today for a check. They just did an ECG on me 4 days ago due to having a flair up of pleurisy from over training, and everything seemed normal. But my resting bpm and blood pressure are always quite high at any Dr. office due to really bad white coat hypertension. My bpm usually reads in the 80s or 90s at the Dr. when it wouldn't even get that high on a casual walk in a comfortable environment.

If you read this far, thank you. Please let me know what questions I should be asking at my appointment.
