possessed thrift finds?

I don't know if this is a common experience but I've done this twice now where I found an old toy at the thrift and felt the need to buy it because it feels like there's someone or something in there. Like recently I went to my local antique store and found an original champ bear for 20 bucks, didn't get him because while I like the design I didn't feel like I needed it, then yesterday I went to my local thrift and found another original champ bear, upon picking him up I felt the need to coddle him and take care of him like he was a baby.
