Proof of Income when self-employed?
Went to carmax yesterday to trade in my car and needed to provide sufficient proof of income (3 months paystubs). I submitted my personal bank statements and my business bank statements, but my business bank statements weren't approved because they're in my business name. I'm a massage therapist and I accept the majority of my clients payments via square - my business bank account is through square and my payments go directly to this account. I don't always transfer my earned income to my personal account, and will sometimes just pull out cash straight from the bussiness account.
I was a mobile therapist for most of last year and clients/payments were sporadic but I opened a studio in September and have had mostly consistent income since then. I considered submitting my tax return, but it wouldn't accurately reflect how much I've made since Sept. as most of the income for the year was made towards the end of it.
Is there some special work-around to prove my business account is mine?
