Toe walking and corrective shoes
Apparently, when I was a little kid, I walked on my toes all the time. My parents were worried that it would shorten my calf muscles and they made me wear some kind of corrective shoes. It worked. I no longer walk on my toes. I walk on the outside of my feet now, but it's not pronounced.
Has anyone else had that experience? Do you know anything about it? Was this a common practice in the late 1970s?
