[Interview Experience] IRMA 2026 - Feb 20 (Slot: 2 PM bombay

Profile: GEM (General Engineer Male)

Status: Finished around 6:00 PM (Was the 3rd last person in the panel)

The Process

• WAT (Written Ability Test): The process started with a 30-minute writing session in a common room.

• The Wait: After the WAT, we had to wait for our respective turns. My interview started quite late as I was one of the last few candidates for the day.

The Interview

The interview lasted about 20-25 minutes and felt more like a conversation than a formal interrogation. The panel was friendly and kept smiling throughout.

Key Questions:

  1. Introduce Yourself: The standard "Tell me about yourself" opener.

  2. Corporate vs. Cooperative: They asked me to explain the fundamental differences between a Corporate entity and a Cooperative. (Honestly, I struggled with this one and couldn't give a solid answer).

  3. General Conversation: Most of the interview after the technical bit was a back-and-forth discussion about my background and interests.

  4. The Closer: They ended by asking for my CAT percentile.

Final Thoughts

Even though I fumbled the Corporate/Cooperative question, the overall vibe was very positive. The interviewers were encouraging. If you are heading in for the next slots, definitely brush up on basic rural management and cooperative terminologies!
