mapuche UU and how to delay a bit the powercreep

Discussion

Both the Kona and the Bolas Rider are very unique and refreshing units, great additions to the game to say the least. However they feel a bit overpowered in early castle age and the reason for this is i think their base stats.

Since mapuche historically stole cavalry from the spanish, the horses share the same bloodline etc from those of the spaniards. It also makes sense that they guarded them in stables and started to breed their own during the war, so i suggest the following:

Give mapuche stables, but essentialy to research both husbandry and bloodlines. the reasoning behind this is because of the base stats of the UU. The bolas rider is a bit slower than the CA, but only after the CA player has researched husbandry at their stables. The same goes for the Kona which even is faster than a knight + husbandry (which makes sense because its a lighter horsemen meant to raid not engage in melee). Regarding HP, i allready mentioned the bloodlines and them being relative to the spanish horses so it wouldnt feel ahistorical and would also help balance wise to add that extra research into the unit (Konas are ready to go from the castle, needing only attack upgrades which is VERY little investment)

With UU base stats decreased, i feel their powerspikes are less notorious in the early game forcing the mapuche player to at least invest in a stable to pay for the upgrades in order to end up like their counter parts of regular ca and knight/lightcav civs

This all goes in the line of the constant powercreep of the game, especially regarding the new civs and what is normally given for free to them.
