How can I get over the fear of being judged?

Seeking Advice

I think I've finally found the core of my anxiety - being judged. I'm quiet in real life but it means people make up their own minds about me. I've also got major RBF as well of the autism, so people think I'm snotty, stuck up, aloof, yet I'm a really caring empathetic person. I think as a woman too we face so much misogyny. For example, I made a tiktok about the price of prescriptions. I man commented saying 'Maybe if you didn't spend all your money on clothes you could afford them.' I don't spend money on clothes. Most of my clothes are from charity shops or I've had them for over 5 years. Heck, I've got a jumper (sweater) I've had for 20 years!

Thats only one example of many instances throughout my life. Fear of being judged has stopped me doing so many things. I used to love doing community theatre but I can't get over the feeling I'm going to be judged - especially that I'm currently out of work, childless and single (the last two are through choice).

I wish I could just block out that fear of being judged. What has worked for you?
