What is the border of being social in such country

I understand someone with good intentions can have a big network, wants to do good to everyone including man/woman. So that could be the reason he can easily talk to everyone, and the thought: “a muslim should able to help eveyone, and be seen nicely to each other”. But this comes along with not lowering the gaze.

So i am confused.

I dont know which is better. Ofcourse the first answer came in mind is lowering gaze, but in a kuffaar country, i understand that you have to socialise, to let the kuffaar not think that islam is an isolated or surpressing deen. To teach them how beautiful our deen is and that it also teaches to be gentle with each other.

So i dont know if this is a red flag in someone or not, that he is friendly and can easily talk to girls.
