Im 15M. Do yall think its weird my closest confidant is a girl?

For context: I am very poor socially. I started talking to her almost accidentally. And lemme preface by saying neither of us have or will ever have romantic interest in each other.
She is like the only person who actually listens to me, understands me and doesnt mock me. I trust her deeply. I tell her literally everything, be it familial, personal, school or whatever.
So do any of y'all have your closest confidant as a girl (or for the girls here, a boy)? And socially, what do yall think are the connotations of said relationship?
