how to get to venue from riverside....?

hey all this is my first time going to beyond and also traveling for a edm festival and i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on getting to and from the venue...

ima be staying at UCR and currently looking at the Insomniac shuttles from there to the venue since i saw the metro link train takes quite a long time. does anyone have any suggestions and any experience with the shuttles? pls lmk since its my first time im not really sure what its like. thanks!
