Zinc and Copper - What to do?
Hi, i recently had my lab test results for Zinc and Copper:
Zinc -> 10,90 umol/l (range 10,7-18,4)
Copper -> 82 ug/dl (range 65-165)
I wanted to start supplementing both of them, 30 mg zinc after lunch and 2 mg copper after dinner, everyday for 2 months, and then probably continue with 15 mg zinc and 2 mg copper for some months.
Do you think it's a good idea? I want to raise my zinc levels to 15 and copper to 100.
I'm already supplementing vitamin d3+k2, magnesium, b12+folic (selenium and myo inositol too cause i'm a male with hashimoto)
I read that zinc can help having healthy hair, but that can induce hair loss if it's too much or if copper levels go down, so i want to be sure that i'm doing the right thing!
