Help Us Clear Debt & Live with Respect

My name is Mritunjai, and I am raising funds for myself and my blind mother. We come from a very poor background in India. My father worked as a street vendor, and our financial condition was never stable. Despite our struggles, my parents always tried to give me the best they could.

During my childhood, I suffered a serious accident while playing cricket at school. The ball hit my left eye, and the glass from my spectacles broke and injured my eye severely. I narrowly escaped complete blindness, but my left eye was permanently damaged.

In 2010, my father suffered paralysis. After that, our family’s income collapsed, and we had to borrow money for his treatment. Even after partial recovery, he was never able to work like before.

Later, when I was in 12th grade, I met with another accident that injured my right eye. With both eyes damaged at different times in my life, my vision became severely weak, making it extremely difficult for me to work and support my family.

A few years later, my mother underwent cataract surgery, but due to complications, she lost her eyesight completely. She is now fully blind and depends entirely on me.

To survive and manage medical and daily expenses, I had to borrow money from different people. Today, I have a debt of 200,000 INR (approximately 2100 USD). The lenders are constantly pressuring and humiliating us publicly. As two physically challenged individuals, we are struggling to repay this amount, and the mental and social pressure has become unbearable.

I urgently need support to clear this debt and ensure basic living expenses for my blind mother and myself. The funds will be used for:

• Repayment of 200,000 INR debt
• Essential medical and disability-related expenses
