Getting a ROUGH estimate is a pain.

Looking for a rough estimate to move my adult son from Western Pa to Fort Campbell Kentucky. He has on 3 big items 2 dressers (5 feet long each) and a queen bed. 2 tvs, computer tower, and about 12 large boxes. We have submitted for estimates from 3 different companies through their websites and they sent not estimates but bombarded us with calls and emails. All I want is a rough estimate. We will pack everything ourselves, move things out of old place and in to the new one. We are just trying to decide whether we should just get a UHaul or let someone else drive. I hate driving and driving a UHaul that far is torture to me. I will do it if the cost of movers is crazy but getting a ballpark estimate is frustrating.
