Chil yul pyun in hapkido

Hi everyone. I am about to get the 2nd Dan degree, but one of the things that I must to do for pass the exam is a thesis. I want to do my thesis about Chil yul pyun but I don’t find much information about this weapon (I don’t know why).

If someone has any resource like a text, or website for example with information or history, can be very useful and I will be very grateful for that.

Other thing that could be very helpful is to know if the handling is similar or the same as in shaolin for example.

Thank you in advance!
