New York City to Texas
Tbh NYC really built me for who I am today. It taught me how to hustle, how to move fast, how to survive, the list is really endless to keep it 100 with y’all ,though lately it feels like I’m just surviving — paying insane rent for tiny space, always rushing, always tired. Even when things are going well, I feel stretched thin though ,
I visited Tx and something shifted. The space. The slower pace. The idea that I could actually own something one day instead of renting forever. It felt lighter. Like life didn’t have to be a constant grind.
Now I’m stuck between loyalty and lifestyle. Am I crazy for wanting more space and peace? Has anyone else made this move — and did you regret it?
