New to the AR-22 Cleaning Game - Any Kits to avoid? Must haves?

Title says it all. Searched up this topic and couldn't find what I was looking for. Got my new rifle incoming and want to be setup to keep it clean and predictable. Seems like a litany of cleaning kits on the market, but thought folks here may have some strong opinions on the matter. Also, might prefer a "universal" kit so I can use it for my 12g too.
