Two things that I would like to discuss
1- Yesterday I was quite active in the group and shared some posts where I suggested everyone here to just move on, and stop thinking about religion, since it helps you in mental health, and already leaving ones religion is too hard and traumatic experience. Unfortunately, I got a lot of hate and trolling from some people who don't have the ability and manners to digest what I said. I wasn't speaking up for everyone, and my point was, "Don't disturb and don't get disturbed". I wasn't defending any religious community, yet I received so much hate for expressing my views. You think you are the only one going through problems as an ex Muslim? You are quite selfish if you think so!!😡. I went through a lot already, many of my Muslim friends left me, I was alone and everytime I cried and had hallucinations in the dark. I have been on meds for an year. I don't need any sympathy from someone, but I will ask, what's the difference between you and those Muslims who suppress my freedom of speech? You people are hating and they hate as well. So what makes you different?
2- This Ramadan is getting on my nerves. First I feel that I'm betraying and fooling my family and old values, moreover, I have to hide from some people that I'm not fasting, and live this doubled face life. And on the other hand, to some people I just say that I'm unhealthy and taking meds so I can't fast😡.
So for God's sake (or whatever you believe in) please be kind to people and learn to listen to other opinions.
