Sunlu Water Soluble Support (PVA) on Snapmaker U1 Problems
First thing first. I'm not new to 3d printing, but haven't done a lot aside from print other people's designs.
And I'm really happy and impressed with the Snapmaker U1. I find it really excellent all around.
I'm now running Paxx extended firmware with Orca slicer instead of the Snapmaker base firmware and Snorca (but have had the same problems with those as well.) I love the Paxx firmware as well. Really slick along with the U1.
Ok, so I have a big problem with the PVA support where it adheres to the bed ok, but then once it gets up to around 30 or so layers it starts to spaghetti all over the place.
I've found a few posts about using PVA supports and have tried recommendations there for both ensuring it's well dried as well as slicer settings, but whatever I try it always seems to end up in spaghetti.
I've given up on it for now and will probably attempt using PETG supports, but I'd really like to figure it out as all other prints I've done have been excellent. I suppose PVA is a tough material for a newb to work with? Or I just need a ton more learning (which is true.)
Thanks!
