31 day months

They happen 7 times a year, but why do they seem to confound every pharmacy I've ever been to? My last appointment was on day 28. Too early to fill, so my scrip review got kicked to day 1, presumably bc the tech didn't account for January having 31 days. And now they're out of stock. It's something every gd month (in the US), I swear!
