Unreasonable dislike towards MIL

Please tell me if I’m being crazy! I have felt my MIL is a lot and have been quite annoyed with her in the past She is so obsessed with her son/my husband like she has a crush on him. and the first time I met her she was so territorial over him The bigger issue is that my husband is horrible at setting boundaries with people, he just wants to keep the peace which drives me insane. She will guilt trip us if we don’t come over enough and make weird comments, compares me to his ex girlfriend, and is messaging him constantly Anyways, my husbands father passed away (his dad has not been married to his mom for 20 years and his mom cheated on his dad) and she hinted to her son/my husband that she wants part of the money coming from his life ins/pension/etc Is that absolutely insane and am I right for me being so appalled by her for saying that?
