Cutest behavior

I've had my two little parrotlets for almost 4 months now. I'm completely new to parrots and have trouble reading their bodylanguage. (I'm a lot better in it now, lots of practice of course)

For me, it's so hard to tell if my birds like me, most often it reads as if they tolerate me at best. But sometimes, like today, I get a glimpse of the progress we have made.

I was singing to myself and noticed that every time I stopped the little beakgrinding of one of them also stopped. So I kept singing. The other one is getting used to his new cage, so he sat there munching on millet. Then the munching sound was stopped, so I hurried to see if he wanted out. I looked at him and he was just staring at me, cheeks in ultimate fluffy mode. Cutest thing ever, I almost cried 🥹💕.

I stopped after a while and they reverted to their natural chaotic selves. I managed to wrangle the out-of-cage one back on my hand (he immediately became very naughty, doing stuff he isn't allowed to). This one ran for my hair to roost.

The other one got mad for a sec l, yelling at his brother for flying onto his cage. Sprinted to the top of his cage, which is open and he can see out of. I gently talked to him and they both got very sleepy. Now one is chilling in my hair and the other is happily chirping to himself.

And I couldn't be happier
