Women shaving

I’m a 51 year old woman, and this has plagued me all my life. I have been teasing and made fun of so much, and I was wondering if I’m the only one out there that does this. I just don’t feel clean unless I’ve shaved under my arms and have shaved legs. Most people I’ve known have shaved under their arms, but I’ve gotten ridiculed for always shaving my legs. I shave from my ankles to my hips every day, otherwise, I still feel dirty. Are there others like me, or do most women really don’t shave their legs as much?
