(44F) Hiding my relationship from my employer

How do you work out hiding from your employer that your time off isn't to go see your partner? Mine is in Austria and I am in New York. I have family in Italy and I've been telling my employer that I go to visit family. However I take 9 days off every 2-3 months.

They have not intruded yet but have asked how family was doing. Have any of you been through this? I can't tell them because it's obvious they will wonder if I want to move, which I do when we are ready.
