Adult Swim has a new animated series coming from the creator of Joe Pera Talks With You and the premise is something

It is called My Two Cars and it is about a guy named Keith Asshole played by co creator Dan Licata who owns both a PT Cruiser and a Mini Cooper and every episode he has to decide which one to drive that day

That is the whole thing

The official description says imagine you are lucky enough to own both a PT Cruiser and a Mini Cooper your day to day life would be insane but also hard hard

The creators themselves said in a statement they appreciate Adult Swim allowing them to see such a dumb idea through into an entire season

So they know exactly what this is

It is a quarter hour series meaning 15 minute episodes and it comes from Dan Licata who has worked on Saturday Night Live and Teenage Euthanasia and Joe Pera who had that gentle live action show on Adult Swim for three seasons

Animation is being done by Green Street Pictures the same studio behind Common Side Effects which got an Emmy nomination

No release date yet but it is happening

So Adult Swim is fully committed to this bit and honestly that is exactly what they should be doing

Is this the dumbest thing you have ever heard or are you already in for Keith Asshole and his two cars?
