People only talking about you but not themselves
It just came to my realisation that everyone assumes people like to talk about themselves... Which is what I've been using so far bc I'm a little narcistic so I make it a point to keep the convo mostly about them and not me... But flip the roles and if I'm on the receiving end of the questions, it makes me uncomfy. Maybe bc I'm aware of this, I know that the opposite person has been able to keep me talking for X amount of minutes without revealing much about themselves... Am-I projecting? Also, I realised that ppl don't like to talk about themselves all that much... maybe we're not close but they [my current aquaintace/friends] don't really go into detail. Am-I misunderstanding something? Am-I going about it the wrong way? I don't wanna sound like I'm interogating them but it sure does *feel* like it.
Also, said person who kept me talking keeps calling me by my name and lowk I know I "should" feel closer bc of that but it lowk feels uncanny and "I just read 48 laws of power" ahh vibe
Same reason I stopped calling my aquaitances/friends by their name eventually.
I'm probably overthinking it lmao, sry kinda long post
