Best / Cheapest Way to Buy a Model Y in BC? (100km/day commute)

Hi everyone,

I live in BC and I’m looking at getting a Tesla Model Y. I drive about 100 km per day for work, mostly highway.

I’m trying to figure out the cheapest and smartest way to buy one. A few questions:

•	Is it better to buy new or look for a used Model Y?

•	Should I finance through Tesla, a bank/credit union, or consider leasing?

•	Are there still any BC or federal rebates available for the Model Y?

•	Does it make sense to wait for inventory discounts or quarter-end deals?

•	Anything specific I should consider with that kind of daily mileage?

I’m mainly focused on long-term cost and reliability. I plan to keep it for several years.

Would love to hear what others in BC have done and what worked best.
