How to avoid cooking alive in my own bedroom?
My bedroom has a window directly facing the sun, and every day from 9am to 11am the temperature goes from 75° to a scorching 86°. I can't sleep in without waking up in my own sweat or feeling dizzy from the heat. The blinds on the window themselves are warped from the heat as well, it's unbearable. This issue is that the past tenants compromised the area where the curtain rod holders would go on top of the window frame. It's heavily cracked from both ends, so the landlord asked us to not hang anything there. There's no space for a curtain rod on the window itself because the window blinds take up all the space where it would go. There's no space in between my bed and the window for a window AC unit, and honestly it's not in the budget. I have a small fan by my bed that never gets turned off, but it always ends up blowing the hot air back at me.
I don't really know how to fix this issue, and any advice would be appreciated
