Someone in a meeting came over and told me to share

So there is this old dude who is a character to say the least. Most of his shares have really turned me off bc you could tell (and he’s told everyone) that he “used to be a sick fuck” and has done a lot of shitty things.

When I walked into a meeting yesterday I saw him and we smiled at each other bc that’s the AA way but then in the last ten minutes he came over for a pretend hug and told me to share.

This pissed me off and I left early. I have had a huge issue with people in AA pushing me to do things I’m not ready for and my last sponsee was really codependent and wanted me to share every detail of my life with her.

It sucks bc it makes me not want to go to meetings. I guess I’m just gonna stick to women’s meetings at least for a while bc I honestly am still so mad.
