How/when do i add the referral boost when opening a new Marcus account with the bonus offer?

I am going to open a new Marcus account for the bonus offer that is going on right now. How do I also add the referral boost on top of that? I see there are a lot of referral codes from people to get the percentage boost but not sure how to do that since I'm already going to do the bonus offer with Marcus.
