Scrapped 98K reviews from the google playstore from Whatsapp

I pulled this without getting blocked and no duplicates!

I had an interesting use case.

I'm a UX designer and I wanted to understand common pain points for apps on the google playstore so I could design solutions that improve the user experience and share them as case studies. My idea was that this would help me show experience in other industries besides the ones where I previously worked, increasing job opportunities.

After I had the raw data I uploaded it to dovetail for analysis.

When I originally tried doing this I was running python locally but I ran into some issues, mainly I was only able to pull around 45k and there were some duplicates.

So I decided to use a proxy service to prevent the job from getting blocked by rotating residential IPs, it worked like a charm. The costs isn't too bad either 100k reviews is about 35mb and 5 gigs a month is $50.

There are lots of services that can do this so take your pick.

You can see the google sheets .csv of the reviews here (note it might take a minute for it to load it's a large sheet).

I also hate looking at raw code, I'm not a developer so I had A.I. create a front end for me so I didn't have to mess with the python code. You can see it below.
