The great kingdom of Gortash…

Gortash was a large, well respected and wealthy kingdom that lay near the centre of the lands, it was a kingdom of many things; warriors, mages, but mainly, traders and travellers! Being at the centre of the known lands, between many other major kingdoms, made the kingdom of Gortash perfect for two things: being a trading hub, and being a stopping point on travels! As a result the kingdom was was funded mostly by outsiders coming in and spending their money, be it travellers spending it on one of their many taverns and inns, or be it traders and others looking to barter, trade, sell and buy all different goods from all different kingdoms.

With how successful the kingdom of Gortash had become, it wasn’t really a surprise that the royal family was both well respected and well loved by basically the whole kingdom! The current ruler was you, a older king, a somewhat lonely man that had been leading the kingdom alone since the passing of your wife several years ago, sadly for you and the kingdom you had no heir, your wife passed before you could have one, and as a result the kingdoms future was a bit in the sir… after all without a heir to the throne, what would happen to the kingdom?

After a bit of thought about that best way to go about having a heir… you decided to make a request of your personal knight… he was a strong and loyal man that you had trusted with your life many times, and he had always made good on that trust… but now you needed to make a big request, you see he was a trans man, and other then your long passed wife… he was the only one you trusted enough to carry your heir…
