Taobao device & global app?

I bought the xteink x4 last week through taobao when I found out it was on there… been stalking this sub and anxiously (excitedly) waiting for it to get shipped

but I just found out the global app is not compatible with the taobao version of the x4… what am I missing without the app? should I cancel my order and place one though the official website? or any workarounds?
