Zepbound for sleep apnea

Getting Started / Newbie

I’m in Illinois and my doctor at a community mental health clinic has advocated that this med Would be better for Semaglutide pills since I can’t remember to take pills and the dual action of zepbound is something that he really likes. I’m on Medicaid and my insurance is saying no. The next step is to get a sleep apnea diagnosis.. has anyone else on community care in Illinois gotten Zepbound covered after a sleep apnea diagnosis? Even on Semaglutide, my weight didn’t budge, but it did help me stop smoking. I have a few pills left, but I definitely don’t want to keep paying out-of-pocket for it. The Semaglutide was about 180 with goodrx but I’m already paying 200 to 400 for my anxiety meds also out-of-pocket.
