How often do your Blu-rays freeze/get damaged etc?

Hi all! I’m relatively new to this hobby of physical media collecting and have been enjoying so far, I only have a few blu rays currently. I was wondering, for those with a decently sized Blu-ray collection and watch them quite often, how often do your Blu-rays freeze or generally have any problems with it? (non 4K ones as i’ve heard many of those freeze often as they’re more sensitive). Is it a rare occurrence? if so does it happen to older discs? I was quite excited to get into collecting these but I have been reading a lot of posts on reddit talking about discs freezing, not working etc and got a bit scared . It is one of the trade-offs you have to deal with physical media but I would love to hear first hand stories from the community!
