Got an Itch to play a Manager career and am wondering what version is best

I haven't played an EA Football game since maybe FIFA 16 / 17, but recently got an itch to play a Manager career.

When I played previously I enjoyed being able to scout countries like Canada (as I am Canadian) and generate prospects that would make it to the World Cup team, and the ability to Manage the Canadian national team as well.

I also liked EU leagues with Promotion / Relegation and trying to take a team from the bottom league to the top one.

Just wondering how much has changed since it became EAFC instead of FIFA, if any large Manager changes have taken place in the last while (EA in general is pretty bad at letting those go stale) and what version people may think is the best for an Offline Manager experience.

I also have very little knowledge about actual teams or players, so if a bunch of players are no longer in the game since the change over to FC, that doesn't bother me too much.
