New parents seeking a community

Hello fellow Olympians!

My significant other (36F) and I (41M) are about to become new parents in the middle of March.

We are looking for new or soon-to-be parents to connect with and form a community. We’re hoping to find people who share similar interests and can walk with us through the struggles, worries, and joys of being a new parent.

We enjoy all sorts of things, including camping and the outdoors, gaming, Dungeons & Dragons, social justice, community work, philosophy, and technology. Specifically, I enjoy video games, Magic: The Gathering, 3D printing, and building things, while she loves crafting and various other creative projects. Once our child is born, we would love opportunities to host or visit others to discuss life, fellowship, our community, ourselves, and our children.

As humans, we cannot go through life with an individualistic mentality. We are born and bred to be in a community, it’s in our ancient DNA, and we don’t do it enough.
