Incoming messages while roaming

Hello,

I am currently in India, I am getting OTPs on my rogers phone number. I spoke with the customer service representative, she said that I would get 18$ per day charge for those OTPs.

I don’t want to call, send messages or use data from my rogers number while I am roaming here in India.

Is there a way, I get those OTP messages without any charges incurred?
