Why do horror film fans complain about mainstream horror, when thousands exist?

Instead of watching only mainstream, download Shudder and watch everything on it, good or bad.

Buy lots of used horror DVDs and start a collection in binders (for the younger folks out there).

Watch more foreign horror, from as many countries as you can.

Watch as many from each decade, from Nosferatu and up.

Also, stop watching trailers for horror films. Go in blind. I'm glad I do.
