has anyone been able to renew their license (in California) by ASHA certification?
If I'm understanding this website, I should be able to renew my license with my ASHA certification, right?
Long story short: I finished my CF years ago and got my supervisors to sign off to get my ASHA certification, but I was dumb and forgot to get one of them to sign off for my license. Supervisor totally ghosted me when I tried to get her to sign off on those hours. So I have my CCCs but no license lol. Thinking of going back into the field, but Idk how to renew my license... Because if I'm understanding this website correctly, I should be good if I just show them my ASHA certification? Howeverrrrr, the last time I tried to renew via this route, the licensing board was like "nope, sorry hon, we NEED those RPE verification form. Have fun doing nothing with your CCCs tho ;)" (of course, they didn't refund any application fees or anything bc gosh do they love to take money from us! haha). And I just wanna double-check AGAIN that Option #2 is like a false sliver of hope for me, right? Like, if I actually wanted to go back into the field, I would have to go through my CF AGAIN or hunt down my CF supervisor? And that maintaining my ASHA certification actually means nothing, right? hahahahaha
