Recommendation Letters

I work NOC shift for 2 years in the ICU and feel I haven’t made a ton of close relationships with providers because they’re usually asleep. Or the patients I’ve had my super sick patients with are with providers I didn’t work with a lot.

There IS a “cross cover” Critical Care NP who works like as extra coverage who I do have a good relationship with that I could ask. Do you think it looks bad to not use a MD? I know this is for a APRN role obviously, so I’d hope they would respect me using an NP?
